Using WantMap

You need to be at least 13 to use WantMap, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens in your account.

Plans are a guide, not a guarantee

Travel times are estimates from distance and typical speeds. Opening hours come from creators, venues and OpenStreetMap and can be wrong or out of date. All-aboard and deadline warnings help you plan but can't account for traffic, queues or schedule changes. Always check times with the operator, venue or cruise line, and leave yourself margin.

Bookings and operators

WantMap isn't a travel agent. Bookings, tours and payments are between you and the operator. Details you record in a trip, like deposits and balances, are for your own tracking.

What you post

You keep ownership of what you write and upload. You give us permission to host, display and share it on WantMap so the product works, for example showing your Walkthrough to readers. Only upload photos you took or have the right to use, and credit the photographer when a license requires it.

Don't post anything illegal, misleading, hateful or that invades someone's privacy, and don't use WantMap to spam, scrape or break the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that do.

Our part

We work to keep WantMap running and your data safe, but we provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for missed departures, bookings or plans. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Ending things

You can stop using WantMap and delete your account at any time. We may change or end features, and we'll give notice before any change to these terms that affects you.
